Dear Whovians, I need your help I hope I don’t put a dampener on anyone’s day here, but I’m putting out a bit of a call to action for the Doctor Who fans here to help me with something that’s very important to me. One of my best friends has recently lost her father to a long battle with cancer. He’d been fighting it for years and, although he outlasted the prognosis provided by the doctors, succumbed to his illness last Tuesday. She is understandably devastated and overwhelmed, especially after the last few months as he declined steeply towards the end. I know you’re wondering why this is in a Doctor Who subreddit, but my friend is a massive fan of the show. She attends events with the actors who played various parts in the show, she watches and rewatches all of the show religiously, even her wedding to her partner was Doctor Who themed and she wore a Tardis wedding dress.
