Hello, I am not sure if this is off topic but I will try anyways.
Is there a way to verify If a person in the US that was homeless throughout most of middle school and high school was ever able to get a PhD in physics from a top university, say top 20, and secondly, if that person was then able to become a tenured professor of physics at also a top 20?
I am also wondering if there is data on the socioeconmic background of domestic (US) physics students at the top 50 universities.
