Amazon MGM have confirmed that auditions are underway to find the next actor to lead the James Bond franchise. The process is reportedly being lead by casting director Nina Gold, whose credits include Game of Thrones and several movies in the Star Wars universe. In a statement to Variety , Amazon MGM said: “The search for the next James Bond is underway. While we don’t plan to comment on specific details during the casting process, we’re excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time is right.” The identity of the next 007 has been the subject of feverish speculation ever since Daniel Craig confirmed he would depart the role following 2021’s No Time To Die .
