We camp in northern AZ, and despite what some may assume, it gets cold. Even in spring / summer. We recently had to leave a day early to avoid another terrible cold night. We were bundled up and had properly rated bags. So — I think part of the issue is our tent is too big. We have a Core 10 person tent to fit: 2 dogs, 3 humans, some junk. We car camp so we bring air mattresses/ cots which are bulky.

We love the “ Instant” pop up style set up of the core cabin tent and would like to keep that feature.

I’d love advice on what size and features might help us reduce tent size in order to increase interior heat retention(if possible). Also season rating? Helppppp I’m kinda a n00b.
