options for downspout, worried about erosion recently installed this walkway/patio. im looking at options for the downspouts. i tried to bury the closest one to a pop up but the yard grade is not great and id have to dig 20+ feet to get to the other side of the slope. (grading the yard is a different can of worms). i also got a quote to have both downspouts tied into the existing pop-up for the sump pump but they wanted 1300 which is more than this entire patio project cost me and i didnt want to shell out. above ground options are preferred, similar to the third picture - I like the river rock bed option but I am concerned about water erosion so close to the patio pavers. most examples ive seen have those rock beds in mulch or more rock, like pictured. would it be terrible to let the downspout pour right into the existing rock? would it wash away the sand and dirt underneath all the pavers? the pavers are sitting on paver base panels and sand.…
