My husband has been cycling since he was a kid and still regularly does rides in the 40–50 km range.I've always admired the discipline, but I've never really gotten into it myself. Lately I've been thinking about changing that and starting to ride more consistently. For those who started cycling as adults, what was the biggest thing you struggled with at the beginning? Not looking for gear recommendations as much as the practical stuff - building endurance, confidence on the road, dealing with sore legs, staying motivated, etc. What do you know now that you wish you'd known when you first started riding? submitted by /u/Responsible-Today570 [link] [comments]
