Learning Spanish, what techniques, books, or classes worked for you? Hello! I am learning Spanish for educational career prospects and for personal growth to be able to speak with my partner's family. I have been slowly learning words throughout the past year, but it isn't enough to really have an actual conversation with anyone. I want to improve my Spanish so I can speak with his Ma and family, since they only speak Spanish. I also work in the culinary industry, and knowing Spanish is beneficial in the kitchen. I know simple phrases like "Do you want/need, can I help you, etc". But I want to be able to have a conversation without the use of my hands or Google Translate. For those who are learning or those who have learned Spanish. What techniques have helped you understand the language more? Are there any books or classes that worked for you? If it is possible, I don't really have the funds to take a class, but if there are any YouTube videos or audiobooks that might help, that will be great.…
