So if you're planning a trip to Tokyo — or you're a fellow wanderluster — here are the most memorable travel tips I picked up: 1. First things first: I flew into Narita International Airport instead of Haneda. The fare difference between the two airports for me round trip was over $100 (and I flew in from Seoul). Narita offers more international and connecting routes while Haneda is much closer to central Tokyo, which might explain the pricing difference .
