The secret cow level has been an on-going presence throughout the Diablo series from the very beginning of the franchise. The original Diablo didn't actually have one, but rumours of its existence tickled the developers enough that they decided to include a secret Moo Moo Farm level and the Cow King boss in Diablo 2 .
