Outfielder Henry Bolte, the A’s No. 5 prospect, is heading to the Show after putting up video game numbers for the Las Vegas Aviators in May. Sources confirmed Monday that the Athletics are calling up Bolte, and he’ll join the club ahead of their series against the St. Louis Cardinals in West Sacramento. Since the calendar turned, he’s hitting .595 with five home runs and six stolen bases. His hot bat earned him Pacific Coast League player of the week honors, as well.
