Man, 26, stabbed to death outside NYC bar after argument turns bloody: sources

A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death outside a Brooklyn bar after an argument turned deadly predawn Sunday, according to police and law enforcement sources. The victim, identified as Manhattan shelter resident Amare Simmons by cops, was knifed in the abdomen and slashed in the face while another man, 28, sustained a slash wound to the left arm in front of Marco’s in Bushwick around 1:45 a.m. Simmons was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, while the other victim was listed in stable condition, the NYPD said. Two persons of interest were taken into custody and a knife was recovered at the scene by investigators, according to police. Marco’s a bar in Brooklyn where a stabbing took place in front. Google Police did not provide the circumstances leading up to the killing, but law enforcement sources told The Post an argument preceded the stabbing. Simmons’ listed address was the 30th Street Men’s Intake Center in Manhattan.…
