Here are three returning sci-fi series hitting Apple TV soon. #1: Dark Matter season 2 Dark Matter is returning for a new season this summer, with leads Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, and more all returning. The first season was based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Blake Crouch. Crouch was showrunner on the Apple TV adaptation, and the original story for season 2 is co-written by him too.
