The Knights lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 and will have a chance to close it out Friday when the series returns to Delta Center. It was the first Knights game to reach double overtime since Game 3 of the first round against the Winnipeg Jets in 2023, and the first at home since Game 6 of the 2019 first round against the San Jose Sharks. Pavel Dorofeyev recorded the first playoff hat trick of his career, his third goal tying the game with 52.7 seconds remaining with the extra attacker pulled. Shea Theodore added a goal and an assist, and Carter Hart finished with 32 saves. Utah scored twice in the third period to take a 4-3 lead thanks to goals from Dylan Guenther and Michael Carcone.
