Raupp / @stemceo T here comes a point in every movement when those entrusted with its care must pause long enough to ask a simple but uncomfortable question: Are we serving the mission, or have we slowly begun asking the mission to serve us? STEM was never meant to become a monument to any single founder, organization, executive, institution, donor, or public personality. It was not built so one name could become synonymous with the entire field. It was not forged so a privileged few could stand before families, teachers, and students and speak as though they alone discovered the future. STEM, at its best, is not a stage.
