Why has no one built a social media app that just shows you your mates? I lived abroad for years and Instagram was genuinely brilliant for it. Showing family and friends back home what I was up to, staying connected, feeling less far away. That's what it was built for. Years later as it evolved it just became an attention seeking machine, so I've deactivated it. No for you page, no suggested posts, no randoms. Just the people you actually follow, in order. Would anyone actually use something like this or have we all just accepted the algorithm now? Feel like the big players are so far ahead, there’s no room for others.
