dear hiking community,
I have heard that Colorado got a deeply dissapointing amount of snow this year. My normal judgement would be to say that it would be too snowy/muddy to do anything in the higher elevations in late may/early June, however wanted to ask if, because of the weather, it would be possible to do a trip getting up to 11.5 k feet next month. I have been checking the weather apps and it seems feasible, but I have no idea how accurate they are at higher elevations (in my experience hiking in the northeast, not very).
if anyone has any thoughts that would be great! thanks.
