The Twins still haven't won a series since the Boston Red Sox were at Target Field from April 13-15. They won the first game in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday night but then were blown out by the Nationals on Wednesday and lost 7-5 in the rubber game on Thursday afternoon, falling to 0-5-1 in their last six series. They're 5-15 overall since an 11-7 start to the season. On Thursday, the Twins took an early 2-0 lead on a Brooks Lee single but gave both of those runs back one inning later. They went up 3-2 in the fifth, only to give up three runs in the bottom half of the inning. And they scratched back to tie the game in the top of the seventh, then immediately allowed two runs in the bottom half of that inning.
