CA. A guy on an electric scooter going the wrong way down the street crashed into my car while I was waiting to turn Location: CA. I was waiting to turn right at a stop sign. The car in front of me turned. The street I was turning onto was completely empty, both the traffic lanes and the bike lane. Just as I started to turn, this guy came the wrong way on an electric (Lime) scooter in the bike lane and crashed into the front left grill of my car. I was moving at most 3 mph. The guy fell down but got right up. He walked over to the sidewalk, and I picked up his scooter and moved it over to him. He was coherent. I had him take a photo of my driver's license and I gave him my phone number. I repeatedly asked him if he was injured and the only thing he would say was "I don't know." He showed me a scratch on his ankle but seemed fine. I perceived the damage to my vehicle to be minimal, so in CA, if no injuries and damage < $500, no need to call the police.…
