Looks like the Legends slot at Glastonbury isn’t good enough for Duran Duran : In a new interview with The Sunday Times , the English group asserted that they wouldn’t play the festival unless they’re billed as headliners. Despite being active for over 45 years, Duran Duran have strangely never been booked to play Glastonbury — something frontman Simon Le Bon addressed back in 2023 during an interview with NME , telling the outlet “I’d love to [do it] – we just need to get the right slot, that’s all.” Now, Le Bon has doubled down on the importance of their hypothetical stage and time slot, saying that they want to play but won’t accept anything less than headlining the Pyramid Stage.
