It’s a big weekend in America for Apple and racing. F1 returns to the U.S. with the Miami Grand Prix happening Sunday on Apple TV . Meanwhile, Apple and Porsche have collaborated on an anniversary race car design that will be on the track in California, also on May 3. Porsche announced today that it worked with Apple to recreate the look of the iconic Porsche 935 K3 race car sponsored by the company in 1980. Race viewers will see the familiar wrap on a pair of Porsche race cars this Sunday during the IMSA race at the Laguna Seca raceway in California: At round four of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship on May 3rd at Laguna Seca, the Porsche works team will show a historic Apple Computer-inspired livery.
