When I was a kid we had a piece of shit house with plumbing issues that we couldn't fix because it would require extensive work to access the plumbing in the concrete. My dad couldn't afford to fix it and we ended up losing the house after suffering with no plumbing for a whole year.

I am looking to buy a home and my wife wants a stick built. I would rather have a manufactured because all of the plumbing is right there underneath. Maybe its because of some kind of trauma from when I was a kid, I don't know. With that said, is there really that much of a difference as far as potentially costly repairs?
