Hello r/legaladvice, a few months back I [22F] let my friend [20NB] borrow my box set of the first arc of Warrior Cats with the explicit statement that I'd like all but the first book (I own a second copy) back at some point. Our friendship has since ended for personal reasons that I do not plan on getting into. I informed them that I would like my books back and that I would pay for shipping, and they never responded. A few days later they blocked me on discord and I'm pretty sure they blocked my number as well so contacting them is going to be difficult. They clearly are not interested in returning the books which sucks because I love those books and don't want to replace them. Do I have a case here? Are there ways to get the books back without going to court?
