Craig Mazin’s not the only one taking a trip to  Baldur’s Gate 3 . Book publisher Penguin Random House is going all-in on Larian’s hit RPG , creating a whole new publishing program that will “bring the game’s immersive world, deep love, and unforgettable characters to the page.” The big item is a novel all about Astarion, the fan-favorite vampire twink. Written by Snake-Eater  author T. Kingfisher, the book is set before the game’s events, back when Astarion was a slave to Cazador Czarr. For those worried about authenticity, Penguin Random House highlighted the book’s consultant Stephen Rooney, a senior writer on  Baldur’s Gate 3  who wrote for Astarion’s personal arc. And if that weren’t enough, Neil Newbon’s back to reprise his character for the audiobook.…
