On this day (April 24) in Nintendo history... Nintendo World Cup  was released in 1991 for the Game Boy in Japan. In this sports game, developed by  Technōs Japan , thirteen national teams compete in a world cup to become number one. At its core, the game follows the rules of soccer, but with noticeable differences. Each team has only six players (a goalkeeper, two defenders, a midfielder and two forwards). The players control only one of them, but they can give commands (Pass/Shoot) to the others. The Satellaview  was released in 1995 in Japan. A satellite modem peripheral developed by Nintendo R&D2  for the Super Famicom . The Satellaview  received scrambled signals during " Super Famicom  Hour" from the satellite radio company St.GIGA , to which users would have to pay a subscription fee. The scrambled signals were decoded as digital magazines and games that could be saved to a Memory Pak.…
