https://imgur.com/aNDnglV I had to include 2 pics. The older driveway had better visibility. The driveway is only 1.5 car widths so to prevent playing car roulette with my wife, I have to park one of my cars halfway on the grass. I want to widen the driveway by adding gravel to part of the lawn. The drawn lines are what I've been approved to do by the city.
I will be adding cement on top of the gravel at a later date when I have the funds. The grass in that area is now just dirt tire tracks and is getting rutted out so it's already ugly looking. What should I use for edging on the grass side to look it's best? I was thinking of using paving bricks but not sure how well they will stay in the winters.
Also, what type of rock do you think would look the best with the new driveway? I was thinking of crush washed lime but would like your opinions.
