Hi guys. I’m considering upgrading to 1440p from 1080p. I have always played on 1080p 144hz.

Current Specs

Ultra 7 265k

RTX 5070

32 GB DDR5

I know my PC is a bit overkill for 1080p, but I enjoy the high FPS I get in most games on max settings(120+), and the future proofing.

Moving to 1440p, what kind of performance drop can I expect? I’m wondering if I should just stick to 1080p with the higher fps.

I play mostly multiplayer fps games:

Rust

Arma Reforger

Battlefield

PUBG

COD

Arc Raiders

ABI

GTA
