A Romanian immigrant released early from prison for sexually abusing a middle-school boy is now wanted by ICE after landing back behind bars for allegedly violating her probation. Rebecca Fratila-Ilies is now facing deportation after she was convicted on two counts of carnal knowledge of a child and statutory rape following her December 2022 arrest in Virginia, according to ICE. She was cut loose early from a Staunton prison while serving a decade-long sentence, only to relocate to North Carolina, where she was hauled back into custody by the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office for an alleged probation violation on March 25, 2025. Rebecca Fratila-Ilies, a lawful permanent resident, is facing deportation after being convicted of sexually abusing a young boy.
