A 111-year-old man who is believed to be the oldest man in the United States revealed his three secrets to living a long life. Luis Cano was born in Colombia on Dec. 9, 1914, but now resides in Linden, New Jersey, and loves fishing Fox 5 reported. He was certified as the 112th-oldest person in the world by LongeviQuest, an organization that tracks the oldest living people. Cano served in the Colombian Army and later started a bus company that transported people through rural areas. Luis Cano is the oldest man in the United States. FOX 5 New York When asked by Fox 5 News how he feels about the achievement, he reportedly replied: “Good.” He married Alicia Angelo Cano in 1948, and the two went on to have ten children.
