The marathon broadcast, which began on 17 April and concluded on Sunday evening, shattered previous fundraising records for a livestream, exceeding the prior best by more than three times. The funds collected are designated for the Cancer Fighters Foundation, with its president, Marek Kopysc, highlighting the aim to help "innocent children who fight the hardest battles every day."
