EXCLUSIVE : Actress and country singer Jana Kramer ( One Tree Hill , Gaslit by My Husband: The Morgan Metzer Story ) is set to make her directorial debut on  Love Song for My Texas Ranger , an independent, music-driven romantic drama currently in production in Texas. Kramer will also star in the film. She is joined by Ryan Rottman ( 90210 ), Tammin Sursok ( Pretty Little Liars ), and Daphne Zuniga ( Melrose Place ). It will also feature original songs performed by Kramer. The synopsis reads: “A struggling singer (Kramer) returns to her Texas hometown to settle her late mother’s estate, where she reconnects with a steadfast Texas Ranger (Rottman) and must choose between the life she planned and love she never expected.” The project is penned by Robin Conly and Jen Parker, with Conly also producing.
