Just curious what people think it’s about worth? I did a Rouvy sample of my goal 70.3 course and was happy with the time of 2:27.
Obv wind is a big factor / day specific weather. But you don’t get to coast downhill online.
As is your bike setup and CdA. Let’s say I have a mid range tri bike, decent rims (60-65 fenders) and I’m good at holding aero and been fitted, will have a decent kit, aero helmet etc.
It’s prob a stab in the dark but anyone have any indoor/outdoor experience they can approximate?
The default bike for the free trial seemed pretty aero though I had no drafting on. So I’m guessing maybe 5-10min benefit indoors?
I biked this at 186w per Rouvy/196 per crank, and I’m 68kg. So about 2.75-2.85w/kg. My FTP is 245-250.
Goal is about 2:30-2:40 hence the ask. Sub 2:30 would be spectacular. I know I need more outdoor time but I haven’t had much of a chance yet.
