California boxing prospect Adrian Valdovinoshas been shot dead in a suspected murder-suicide by his girlfriend’s jilted ex-husband. Police say the violence unfolded around 4 a.m. Sunday at a home on the 1500 block of University Avenue in Hanford in the Central Valley after witnesses reported a man and a woman arguing. Facebook/Ruben Valdovinos Cops said they heard suspect Vincent Diaz “turn a firearm on himself and die from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.” After entering the home, officers safely removed a woman from the residence and conducted a protective sweep. During that search they discovered a second man, identified as local boxing star Valdovinos, dead in a bedroom with gunshot wounds. Investigators say Diaz was the ex-husband of the woman living at the home and had forced his way inside.
