Boing Boing / Google Gemini Artist Ton Zwerver made this striking kinetic mask featuring bouncing appendages. The base is metal, with two simple eye-holes and the imprint of a mouth. Extending from the front is a Pinocchio-like nose with three long poles coming out of the tip. The poles have colorful balls on the ends and bounce up and down whenever the mask wearer moves their head. It's a satisfying mix of wearable object and kinetic sculpture — the moving parts bring it to life in a way that's hypnotic to watch.
