I'm a CS student and solo developer, and I just launched something I've been quietly building for over a year: TravelTipsGo (traveltipsgo.com). The idea is simple — plan your trip on the site, then make it public so other travelers can find and use it. Real itineraries from real people, not AI-generated fluff. The feature I'm most proud of: hidden events. You can add secret spots to your public trip that strangers can't see — but when you share the trip directly with someone you trust, those hidden locations become visible. Great for keeping your favorite hidden gems actually hidden. A few other things worth mentioning: No tracking cookies. No ad networks. Ads are contextual and self-served — based on what trip you're viewing, not who you are. The only third-party cookie on the entire site is MapTiler for maps. Trips can be public or private — you're in full control. I built every line of this myself, so it's still growing.…
