Reading _Glasperlenspiel_ and noticed once more an instance where the author uses a perfect tense without "hat". Sie strebten nach [..] Klangwirkungen, nach Tönen, die noch kein Ohr gehört; sie suchten ... (Suhrkampt edn, p 28). To me, that sentence ends abruptly, and lacks the word "hat".
