Beloved classic rock act Journey adds more dates for final tour SAN JOSE, Calif. — Here’s the news that West Coast Journey fans have been waiting and hoping for: The classic rock act, which ranks as one of the biggest bands in Bay Area music history, has finally announced a hometown show on its farewell tour. Journey brings its Final Frontier Tour to Chase Center in San Francisco on Nov. 28. (The band will also play in Seattle on Sept. 21 at Climate Pledge Arena.) These shows are part of the newly announced batch of 40 new dates for Journey’s farewell tour. Very fittingly, the San Francisco gig serves as a big hometown finale to the tour. (Unless, of course, Journey ends up adding even more dates — stadium tour, anyone?)
