Huskies land first lineman for 2027 recruiting class

On June 15, 2019, Washington landed a commitment from Colorado high school powerhouse Valor Christian High.  Five years, 33 games, a Pac-12 championship and a College Football Playoff championship game appearance later, Roger Rosengarten departed Washington as a second-round draft pick by the Baltimore Ravens.  Now, another Valor Christian standout offensive lineman has a chance to follow Rosengarten’s path.  Reis Russell, a 6-foot-3 1/2-inch, 290-pound interior offensive lineman from Littleton, Colo., announced his commitment to Washington in a post on his social media accounts on Monday.
