Details about Aldi I am writing to share my perspective and concerns regarding Aldi’s plans to expand its stores to include Colorado as of 2026. Having been a patron of multiple Aldis on the East Coast, I can appreciate their low prices and their European-designed product setup, yet Aldi has not followed through on their repeatedly stated commitment to phasing out gestation crates in their pork production; in contrast to multiple grocery retailers and some prominent fast-food corporations that have carried out this promise, such as McDonald’s.
