The builder who replaced remnants of an old train line and trestle with single-family houses on Spring Street across from the Star Market plaza in West Roxbury has filed plans to build a four-story, 44-unit apartment building next to the new homes.
Plans by Ivan Biesty of Walpole for 92 Spring St. call for replacing a small office building and a parking lot that was once home to Rental Depot but which is now home to a black food truck that asks passing motorists to consider how their meat is.
Biesty's plans call for seven apartments to be rented as affordable.
The building would have 44 parking spaces in a garage.
Biesty bought the building and parking lot for $2.5 million in July, 2025, according to Suffolk County Registry of Deeds records.
