(So glad you had a shoebox in your car!) RANT to rich people and their unnecessarily tall boats who make the rest of us sit in miles of traffic while the ship canal’s bridges are raised for their easy sailing. And they get that passage for FREE, while we burn gas and patience. RAVE to three women clerks at Barnes & Noble in Lynnwood. The first one helped me find a book after I had already searched in vain. When I took it to checkout, the second clerk noticed that the cover was damaged. She asked if I would like a discount or a new, fresh copy. A third clerk searched all over and brought me a new copy (which I could now give as a gift). I am still blown away by their customer service. Other stores, take note!…
