As many as 11,000 chickens were culled on Friday and Saturday at Diamond poultry farm, the source of the outbreak, while two more adjoining farms — Tasleen and Sule farms — as well as four more nearby farms would also have their chickens culled, state animal husbandry officials told The Indian Express . All seven farms are located within a one-km radius, and 25 rapid response teams have been set up to speed up the process. “We have started culling with scientific disposal.
