The truth is out there: Ryan Coogler’s X-Files pilot has an incredible cast , and hopefully that’s a sign Hulu will give the project a full series order. Today, we learned who’ll be joining the previously cast Danielle Deadwyler and Himesh Patel—playing the two main FBI agents tasked with investigating unexplainable cases and dodging conspiracy theories—in the reboot of the much-loved 1990s series. Deadline got the scoop that eight guest stars have signed on, including another newly minted Oscar winner: Amy Madigan, whose work in Weapons was an awards-season triumph for horror alongside Coogler’s Sinners .
