However, this week the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC) announced that there’s a patio swing recall involving almost 20,000 units. Per the USCPSC, in the faulty swings, “the swing seat can detach from the frame while in use.” A sudden drop like this poses “a risk of serious injury or death from a fall hazard.” To date, there are eight reports of this happening.
