A "summer of shortages" could hit the UK's supermarket shelves, according to the Times, as the Iran war affects production of chicken, pork and other goods. Citing secret government analysis, the paper says "fears grow that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz will lead to a shortage of carbon dioxide, which is critical to the food industry".
