I recently got suspended from university for 2 years due to my own mistake, and I’m really struggling to process it.

I’m from a computer science background, but I don’t feel like I have any real coding skills or strengths. Now I’m stuck with this long gap, and even if I go back, it’ll take me about 3 more years to graduate. Meanwhile, all my friends will move forward and graduate, and I feel like I’m just falling behind in life.

I don’t know what to do with myself during this time. I feel unmotivated, lost, and honestly kind of useless. It’s hard not to compare myself to others and feel worse.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or taken a break like this? How did you deal with it and get back on track?
