I've posted this in a few threads of people asking for help, but there are so many of those posts... so, I guess here's another one. The first thing you need to realize is that Skull Cavern is not like the mines AT ALL. I think that's what gets people the most. It got me early on as well... Skull cavern doesn't have the elevator, so you can't really approach it as this leisurely adventure. Go down 5-10 floors at a time if you have a few extra hours at the end of the day, or go to specific floors to mine things with those few hours. (Well, you can, but it's not really worth it) You really need to prep for it, and invest a whole day. That being said, I think what a lot of people say is overkill unless you're REALLY trying hard. You don't need 100 staircases, or maximum luck, or TONS of food. That stuff does help, but you can fairly easily make it to level 100 if you just change your mindset.…
