Donnie Yen , who reprises his role as blind assassin Caine in a standalone Lionsgate movie that he’s directing, announced that the film is in production as he celebrated the first day of filming on Saturday. “Here we go…” wrote Yen on Instagram with a photo of the movie’s slate. Making his franchise debut in John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), Yen’s Caine is a blind former High Table assassin who is forced out of retirement on assignment to kill Wick, in order to protect his daughter’s safety.
