EXCLUSIVE: A live experince firm that has produced concerts for Top Gun: Maverick and David Attenborough’s Ocean has secured a £2.6M ($3.5M) investment. Esk obtained the money via a funding round led by Maven Capital Partners and provided by the Maven Venture Capital Trusts along with the British Business Bank’s Investment Fund for Scotland. The Scotland-based firm takes iconic IP from rightsholders such as Netflix, Paramount and BAFTA and produces live entertainment experiences. It also has a “proprietary media control system.” The firm launched four years ago and said it has delivered more than 550 shows. Esk’s recent credits include Top Gun: Maverick – Live in Concert , the Attenborough-narrated Ocean In Concert , Netflix’s Life on Our Planet – In Concert’ and Quentin Blake’s Mrs Armitage On Wheels – Live On Stag e.…
