Rap albums drop every day, b. Well, not really. But sometimes it feels like it. Thousands of rap albums release during a calendar year. Sometimes the albums include extensive rollouts, packed with interviews and promotional material. Other times, they arrive as surprise drops—completely out of the blue with little warning. Sometimes the releases come from superstars; other times, they’re from up-and-coming artists. And 2026 is shaping up t o be a big year for rap releases. The biggest album of the year, Drake’s Iceman, is a couple of weeks out. But we also have Baby Boi from Playboi Carti, as well as new albums from Future, Travis Scott, DJ Khaled, and more to look forward to.
