Police investigating connected stabbing, car wreck in Rainier Valley April 30, 2026 at 7:16 am Seattle Times staff reporter Seattle police are investigating a stabbing and hit-and-run that occurred Wednesday night in Rainier Valley. The two incidents are believed to be connected , Seattle police said in a blotter post. Dispatchers received a report of a person hit by a car in a lot at the 9100 block of Rainier Avenue South at 10:05 p.m. Police found an unconscious 50-year-old man there. Officers provided aid, and the man was transported to Harborview Medical Center by medics, police said. His condition is unknown. Just 10 minutes later, dispatchers received a call reporting a stabbing. Police said that officers arrived at the fire station in the 9600 block of Renton Avenue South and found a 56-year-old man with a slash wound to the neck. He was transported to Harborview and is in stable condition, according to the police blotter. Seattle police said they determined the two events are connected.…
